After graduating from the Academy of Richmond County High School’s prestigious International Baccalaureate Programme, while playing golf for the Musketeer’s, Blake went onto further his education and golf career at Furman University on an academic and athletic scholarship.
The future for Blake was truly limitless. He was a promising young man who seemed to have everything. Blake was a talented golfer, a dedicated student, a loyal friend, and more importantly he was just a great individual to be around.
On May 5, 2017, Blake was taken from us way too soon. To celebrate his life, we are establishing a golf tournament in his memory.

The Blake Hadden Memorial Foundation was created to honor Blake’s life, legacy, and the lasting impact he made on those around him. Through the annual memorial golf tournament and scholarship fund, the foundation brings together family, friends, teammates, and community supporters to celebrate Blake’s passion for golf, education, and connection. What began as a way to remember an extraordinary young man has grown into a continuing opportunity to support future students and carry forward the values Blake embodied every day.
